Minimizing weight is an important issue in the production of bags.
By using a hollow nylon fiber, we have been able to decrease the weight of this tape by 20% in comparison to our standard product.
The final look has a particularly subtle sheen because the hollow fiber is not circular. Thus the greater surface area increases the number of light-reflections. By weaving the thread with a technique called “SATIN”, a deep sheen results, creating an elegant satin effect.
To make the most of this characteristic, we have produced metallic shades of gold, silver and bronze in addition to the standard colors.
